Clyde’s Place

Every Tuesday since 1974, Clyde Maness has opened the doors of the Maness Pottery and Music Barn in Carthage, North Carolina for the public to enjoy southern cooking, live music, and a vibrant social scene. Clyde, a man with a heart as big as his eccentric personality, has lived a prolific life collecting many stories to tell.

In 2015, David Puckett filmed and edited this video in eight weeks for a course assignment while studying at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University.
